Exactly what I wanted

I ran this unit for 3 days. I never needed to drain the unit. The hose never got hot because the exhaust hose is inside of the intake hose. And it literally took me 15 minutes to install the unit as it comes almost completely put together. This unit keeps the whole house comfortable. The auto features work well and due to remote control it’s quite easy to use.

I bought this because of the 116F in California two weeks ago. This unit is a trooper I’m impressed it’s able to maintain constant cooling without draining the water compartment. It’s cooling 320 square ft room to around 78F without the help of central air in the house which is pretty impressive. It’s quiet on low at night.For the money it’s very good. The up and down vent movement started to make a little noise so I lock it at a fixed position but otherwise it’s solid at about half to third of the cost of GE or LG unit.

I recently purchased an 1800 sq ft townhouse without central a/c. I already had a portable ac for my bedroom, but needed on for the main living area. The day after I received this unit, the high for the day was 98. This unit not only kept the main level a comfortable 73, it helped keep the upstairs much more comfortable. It is much quieter the my smaller unit.

Very quiet! Compressor is definitely an inverter-controlled model. Easily starts on small generators; the starting wattage can be watched on a kill-a-watt, increasing by ten or twenty watts (!!) every few seconds. Has “true defrost” cycle, for heatpump operation. Moving temp sensor in cabinet allowed use in 26*F weather, when an ice storm took out power for a couple of days, in southern USA. Downside: there doesn’t seem to be any warranty coverage, so test it out as soon as you get it.

After turning it on for the first time (in hot Florida), after a few minutes, it was blowing out cold air at 48F! The inverter run compressor is quiet with no large sounds or electrical spike when it turns on/off. I like that it has DUAL HOSEs and a heater function. The model number is TAC-10CHPDNWSGBp.

This product has worked well in our kids room when our hvac went out. It’s easy to use and does make noise, but that is to be expected.

I really like this AC. The firs thing you notice or don’t notice is the sound. It is very quiet even on the highest setting. You hardly know that it is on and cooling, heating and dehumidification are really good. They do a nice job with the inlet and exhaust for the ease of installation and the insulation on the exhaust hose itself.
