I was looking for a keyboard and this great price caught my eye. I was sceptical at first because of the low price. Then I ordered it, decided to give it a try. Now we’ll get into the pros and cons. PROS These keyboard keys are your typical plastic keys. However, the keys did have some weight to them which was great! The sound is pretty good for a 70 dollar keyboard. I also liked that it came with stickers. It is nice that you can listen to instrumental songs on it. CONSThe feature where you can apparently change the sound (tone) doesn’t work. I’ve tried the description in the book and it is stuck on playing instrumental songs. Also, the stickers to put on the piano, some are missing.In the end, there were many pros and cons, actually was better than I expected and do not plan on returning it.

Got this for my 7 year old grandson. His sister gets to sing in the microphone while he plays. He enjoys using IPad apps that teach beginner piano. Given the accessories and overall quality, I think this is the best choice for beginner keyboards.

… what a surprise considering the price! I tried to cancel the order after further research but it was already on the way. Set it up and (as a professional who’s been through about a dozen electronic keyboards from high end to low) was frankly surprised at the features and quality of this 8.4 pound unit. The keys are not semi-weighted – they’re typical plastic synth keys – but they are touch sensitive. The samples are not especially long – even when using the sustain pedal. There are no electric piano sounds (bummer!), some possibly useful instrument sounds (play ’em idiomatically), some not so useful, and SFX. Decent sounding speakers. Good for beginners and, in my case, a decent unit for getting one’s chops back after some major setbacks. Again, it’s a good unit for beginners (includes note stickers for the keys), and at this price point you really can’t beat what this unit has.
