This liner material is very stiff and difficult to work with, seems to be pretty tough though. However it can be cut easily, I dropped my pump and it created a slice in the liner . I think as long as you are careful installing it should last a long time. I had extra so just doubled mine.

It’s also quite strong – the only thing that poked through was a literal spike from a tree we had cut down. But I wasn’t worried about that, becuz I put boulder sized rocks around my pond to hold it down & it obscures the creases. As for durability…this liner is tough!
