Gets perfectly ice cold in a matter of minutes.Installation: Instructions are simple, and you only have to install the side pieces, the window kit is included. (The installation included a set of window kit, the connecting bar, and mine was already intact.) Not saying it was fun, but it’s not so heavy that you can’t manage it yourself. You basically get in the window and you’re ready to go.

This AC had no reviews when I purchased it, but I went out on a limb because it seemed the best option out of all of the ones I had looked at. Our home is a tri-level. I put it in our living room and keep the bedroom doors open above the living room. It is now bearable for all of us to hang out and sleep. My kitchen is just on the other side of the living room and for the first time in years I have been able to use my oven this summer! The bedrooms don’t get chilly at all, but it has dropped the temp in the rooms about 12 degrees when going to bed and 16 degrees cooler in the morning, compared to previous summers. I am very pleased with my purchase and I don’t know how I lived so long without it!
