We are renovating a home while living in it and installing a whole new system from gas to electric. Since this past summer the temps were in the triple feels like digits, we got this bad boy. We put it in our room which is a 12×13 or a little bit bigger, and it’s kept it icy!! It’s absolutely awesome! Garvee thankfully delivered it gently and carefully which is a major plus. We did have to make adjustments for it to not leak though. We got a super sturdy tall end table and set it on top of that so we could take the clear pipe it came with and insert it into the unit and pop it out of the window so it would keep running on super humid days. The window slide piece that you attach the vent to wasn’t long enough for our window, but my husband had an extra piece of board insulation from our camper. So we put it all together and it works. We only had one or two instances where it froze up with ice, but it rained pretty hard and we didn’t think about cutting it off, so that was our fault. (Hairdryers work pretty well for that!) I love this unit and Id buy another one.** I also thought I read something about heat on this one, just be aware that this unit is AC only. Just wanted to clarify for anyone who’s looking for both.

We have had many days that are above 90 degrees in our house. We finally bought an AC and this thing is a godsend. Our bedroom is ice cold and I was finally able to sleep through the night. We had a swamp cooler AC thing before and it worked but this thing blows it out of the water. It’s way smaller, than the swamp cooler, too. And way quieter. I can still hear my TV on low volume. It was very easy to put together. Our house us 800 sq feet and the rest of the house is below 75 degrees for the first time since sprung started. It’s so nice. This AC kicks butt!

This AC is cooling down a 600 square foot room and does an excellent job. It works even better when you have an insulator around the exhaust hose, which I highly recommend.

Use it daily, cools the room quite fast. Hadn’t really used the heater part yet, but it does work, giving heat. It’s 80’s, 90’s degrees, so heat is not needed.
