    I have used faux ficus trees in my homes for decades now, but the ones I had were getting old and a little decrepit, so I disposed to them during my last move. Eventually I found I was missing having some in the house, so when I saw this one on Garvee/Vine, I ordered it, as it really looked big and fluffy in the ad online. It came quickly, securely packaged in a rather small box, with plastic around both branches of leaves. I have to admit, it wasn’t nearly as fluffy and full looking as the one pictured in the ad, but I think with a little more tweaking it will look decent. I also miss having a bigger tree, as my old ones were over 6 feet tall and this is barely four, but, once I get a nice pot and perhaps a plant stand for it, it will look more as I want it to. The great thing about this type of faux tree is it is so easy to take care of. I put mine in the shower a few times a year to wash off dust, and it will look brand new again! My cats don’t bother chewing on it either!

    My main complaint would be that it is shipped with a pin joint that needs to be used to connect the base to the upper branches. It isn’t real noticeable from a far, but really doesn’t match up clean and hide from view to the level I would hope. Or preferably it wouldn’t have had that connection point at all. Leaves don’t look super realistic, but fine.

    The natural wood trunks are a standout detail. They add a lot of authenticity to the overall look. I also appreciate how lightweight yet sturdy the tree is. It doesn¡¯t feel cheap at all, even though it¡¯s artificial.
