This is a really nice compact & easy to use expresso coffee machine. We have a big one at work and & really wanted one for the home too but we have limited counter space & Hubby was not giving up his large Keurig machine. We argued and hemm-hawww’ed about it then this lil guy came along and we are a happy family again. Hubby gets his coffee and I get my espresso & we both get to keep our uncluttered tiny kitchen space. I really like how simple this machine is to use. It has a grinder, frother & reservoir all included but takes up less space than Hubby’s Keurig. I do not use the frother – we have an external one that is super compact & easy to use/clean. This machine has a 1.5L capacity reservoir and it can be accessed completely to clean so no algie/scale buildup accumulates. It works on 20bar pressure which make for deep rich espresso without overspraying. The mechanism is very secure and sealed so no mess or loss of pressure. It has a 1.5L bean bin and 15 diff levels of grinding sizes. It self dispensed the perfect amount every time with no need to scoop and tamp – just press the button and viola! This is an automatic single serving unit meaning it will dispense the amount you choose – 30ml (1oz) or 300ml (10oz) – grinding the beans for fresh each cup. It works great with any type bean – I have been doing a 50/50 mix of espresso & hawaiian hazelnut coffee bean mix & LOVE it. The controls are self explanatory w/ detailed directions in the booklet and the machine works great. It has a self cleaning function that works really great – I run it once a month with white vinegar 50/50 water solution and it clears everything out. I have a little basting brush that I use to clear out the bean bin every couple of months. I love that the bean bin is fully sealed – keeping the beans fresh for weeks at a time. I did tester out the milk frother and it works very well – will go at the same time as the espresso brewer which is a nice time saver – don’t have to do one than the other. Again, I don’t use this function as I like my external frother better and it fits into our space limitations better. On the whole I love this machine – It is so easy to use and makes a great cafe latte with minimal effort & clean up.
