It works perfectly and is cost-effective.I purchased a 6000 BTU air conditioner and it is compatible with Alexa.When the air conditioner is connected to the app, there is a “+” button in the upper right corner of the app, and there is a detailed description of connecting to Alexa when you click on it.Another way is that you need to type “Smart Life” into Alexa so that you can connect to your air conditioner.Hope this will be helpful to others.

I needed a personal AC for my rather large 2nd floor bedroom. I love in an older home and my room is farthest from the central air unit, so gets very little cooling from the main ac of our house.I’ve tried 2 other AC units, but it never really gets it cool enough (I need it COLD to sleep (night hot flashes). This one wins!!!!My only critic is that it does have a wifi option on the front panel, but my instructions don’t say anything about how to set it up.
