I love the window feature on the unit so I could monitor the food while cooking and was not loud when on.The frozen breaded shrimp I tried using the machine’s preset option cooked the inside evenly throughout and the outer coating to a crisp golden brown. The instructions included are easy to read and it also came with a small recipe book. The only draw back, do to the round design of the fryer I did loose some counter space. That aside, it’s a solid performer and for 8.5 quarts a great price.
