This liner material is very stiff and difficult to work with, seems to be pretty tough though. However it can be cut easily, I dropped my pump and it created a slice in the liner . I think as long as you are careful installing it should last a long time. I had extra so just doubled mine.

This is by far the best liner I have bought yet only thing better would be full on rubber I think. It’s tricky to work with because it’s so thick but ai opened it and left it out in the sun for about an hour while I finished up the hole and then laid it in while it was warm and it went great. I’ve built this pond and river system 3 times prior to this attempt and the liners have always ended up being the problem since they were always to thin and were very easy to damaged. This liner is significantly more damage resistant.

We used this to line the spillway of our pond renovation. It was easy to lay out, easy to shape, easy to cut. It’s also quite strong – the only thing that poked through was a literal spike from a tree we had cut down. This was cheaper overall than pretty much every option at local stores, and it has held up through heavy rains, storms, and all kinds of critters messing with it. Would buy again if I was doing another water retention project.

This is a very thick & durable liner & if you don’t have it in the sun, heated up before you start working with it, you’re gonna hate trying to line your pond with it. But if you do it right & let the sunlight heat it up, it’s easy to lay down. You’re not going to get all the creases out tho. It’s impossible with rubber material this thick. But I wasn’t worried about that, becuz I put boulder sized rocks around my pond to hold it down & it obscures the creases. As for durability…this liner is tough!
